She starts off as being "focused" and because of the occasional time skips, it feels like she's waiting for the opportune moment to act. The MC is also ends up as a bit of a generic mary sue. I get the feeling that the author started artificially increasing the number of chapters once it became popular. more> hasn't even reached the start of the actual otome game yet. From volume 2 onward, her flag clearing rate is at most a quarter of what it was before. The problem is that the plot slows down to a crawl after that. The first 25ish chapters (volume 1) are fun, watching the MC running around trying to prevent events that would raise flags in the future. It served as a decent way to kill time while I binge read up to the current release, but I don't think I'll be adding it to my reading list.
